    Flat Feet Issues with Deadlifts

I disagree, simply assuming an absence from pain is a key performance indicator is critically misguided in my opinion. Bio-mechanically the placement of the feet is essential to the performance of the kinematic chain. As such any pronation of the foot and ankle will have a serious flow on effect...

    Flat Feet Issues with Deadlifts

I found taping provides a decent amount of support but I can't find a video of the way I tape my feet. However, to be honest is much of a muchness. I would also consider looking at pulling sumo since you naturally pronate the feet HOW TO TAPE PROPERLY FOR PLANTAR FASCIITIS - YouTube

    Flat Feet Issues with Deadlifts

I have a similar problem, both my feet pronate (unevenly). I still use my orthotics in my Chucks when pulling, I can feel them flexing a bit but its never really been a huge problem (I also tape my feet in competition). Are you pulling Sumo or Conventional?

One core lift lagging - what to do?

No it's not. I have trained with guys that Bench 200+ & they are ALWAYS working on setup.

    good mornings

I do Max Effort Good Mornings suspended in chains. This removes any crazy reversal loading on your spine and sets you at what ever depth you chose to lift with. I found they do help build some strength in to the back & postural areas

    Critique my workout design please

Then add some BBMP. Everyone is looking for a cookie cutter program, when at the end of the day you have to do your own experiments and test results against them.

    Critique my workout design please

Tues/Thurs/Sat look fine. However, Sunday is a problem. Get rid of it & find something more contructive to do. I would suggest some conditioning and pylo drills or some mobility work.

What Exercises do you avoid. why?

Lunges would have to be the dumbest thing ever. You step forward, then land flat foot and in knee flexion under load. Where do you think your femur is tracking?

What Exercises do you avoid. why?

I just thought of a few more I avoid: Dumbbell press - I work these with my palms facing together to unload the shoulder & put that back on to the tricep - Seated Dumbbell shoulder press - These are WAY too easy to press out in front of your face & hyperextend the shit out of your back...

What Exercises do you avoid. why?

Suspend the bar in chains at the bottom. So you're only really working on concentric cycle if that makes sense.

What Exercises do you avoid. why?

I avoid curling in the squat rack. I actually tried those for the first time ever last week and after 3 light sets decided the sheering load across my kness was not worth it. I read a tiny bit on EFTS the other day from Jpeg, his suggestion is box jumps are not really much more than a test...

the what u saw at the gym TODAY thread

I can pretty much rule that out as bullshit A: I have seen the Aus Sevens team train, while they're not the greatest Benchers you will ever see, they all bounce the bar of their chest B: Any second year sport science student will be able to explain the amount of reversal load that places on...

Hit the wall on the bench press need help thanx.

I am by no means a good Bencher however, I can see a few points here - Trents - how is your setup? chances are it sucks - I skim read your program, are you only doing 3 sets of bench per week? A good saying a heard the other day was 'too press more you need to press more' - You also said you...
