    The Insanity of Chuck Vogelpohl

I know most of you aren't as crazy about multiply lifting as I am but anyone who is into powerlifting has heard of Chuck. The man is crazy strong and trains like an insane person. Here is video of him taking 1180 for a ride at the recent Lexen meet. T26_-Y72Rpk

    Light Headed.

False. Your Man Quotient skyrockets if you can say you passed out deadlifting. I've done it. All the cool kids do it. You should try it some time.

I agree. It would be a fun comp as a one off but I don't think it's got potential for a full meet by itself.

    That would be freaking awesome!

SPF in the States does that. Mark Bell and the crew at SuperTraining have run a couple of 3-in-1 meets with great success. Don't think there is the market for it here though.

Awesome news Markos. I will definitely be up for both Raw and Gear. I think first on the agenda should be getting Fat Dave into a suit. Watching his face in knee wraps was gold, I can only imagine the comedy that would ensue in a suit. Keep up the hard work mate. SFW

It wasn't so much that i took the gear off, more the gear doesn't fit at my current levels of fatness. Thanks markos.

You're an idiot. Until you've tried it you're in no position to comment.

In a federation with no records it gives lifters something to work towards. I'm not going to win the 110+ class unless Gawain breaks both legs (accident or otherwise ;)) but I can work towards a higher total ranking.

Go do 3 squats over 95% then 3 benches over 95% then 3 deadlifts over 95%. Then report back to us about how you felt by the time you got to the deads.

Basically Pro has one piece straps, Ace has velcro straps. But the longwinded answer involves the way the thread pulls etc. Overall the Ace is their top of the line suit. The Pro will be easier to learn but not as good. I've pulled sumo in my pro. You can also pull in the Ace.

What double ply gear have you used Spritcha?

There is a huge difference between assistance and supportive gear. Having said that I know of people who consider a belt assistance gear. Chad Aichs says if you can't box squat 20lbs more in a belt then without it you're not using your belt right.

    Double Ply

Good move. I wouldn't squat in both brand new though. I'd break in the briefs and get used to them before moving onto the suit and then eventually both.
