    Leg Extension suggestions.....

Yeah I was gobsmacked! I found it on Gumtree. I believe it was purchased 2nd hand when a gym closed down, then it was never used and just gathered dust. Any ideas on the best way to clean up the rust on the loading pins? There is also sticky stuff (from an instruction placard) on the frame...

Yeah I emailed them asking about leg extensions and he quoted me for a leg press, then never got back to me again afterwards when I asked again for a leg ext.

    Leg Extension suggestions.....

I think I may have encountered a problem with this purchase...... When I originally enquired about it, I was told in email that it had 100kg weight stack so I went ahead and ordered it (the pic on the net didn't really show a lot). I have looked at a zoomed in pic of the item though and only...

    Leg Extension suggestions.....

If it`s not too much of an issue I would be interested on a price on the first and last ones. If you want to shoot me a pm that will be great. Thanks bud. Because my gym doubles up as a studio which in turn pulls in an income to fund more nice gear :-) Just have to have it approved by she who...

    Leg Extension suggestions.....

Cheers for the input. I`m looking at something more heavy duty though. I have seen a few plate loaded ones for around 2000-2500 but nothing much in-between. Happy to spend the money though on the right item.

    Leg Extension suggestions.....

Cheers for your thoughts bud. All pin loaded ones I have seen are adjustable at the back rest position and also the height of the foot pad. The plate loaded ones appear to only be adjustable at the back rest, so I guess based on that argument, a pin loaded one allows for a more individual fit...

    Leg Extension suggestions.....

I`m after a leg ext for the next item in my studio. I have a pop-in attachment for my bench which I can do leg ext and leg curls with, but when it gets heavy it`s not smooth and I would rather have a standalone machine. I have figured out my options are - Pin loaded leg-exg/leg curl...

Nice looking bench. I will hold out for a while and see what they do then. I`m of the same opinion that if a bench is that good and ticks all the boxes, then it is worth the money for sure. Re the rack that seems about right from what they told me when I called them about it. I`m sure it will...

Oh I may well wait then as I would be gutted to buy it and then have them improve it a short time later. Have you got some inside info on it then? I was stuck in similar position of wanting a power rack. I sometimes still do but there has always been a compromise somewhere with one aspect or...

Linear bearing vs roller leg press

Yeah I have a pivot/lever leg press and find it more natural than a fixed 45 deg leg press, but that could just be me.

The amount of seat heights looks less on the IE one so there may be other subtle differences I guess? actually edit that I reckon it could be a typo on the IE site

Yeah it looks identical in fairness and 200 bucks less. Surely there cant be a 200 iron edge premium?

Argh I wish I lived close to them mate so I could check out their stuff. I will be really interested to read a review or your thoughts and pics on it when/if you get it as I am really tempted to pick one up. I would sell the Hyper Extension machine that I currently have as you can do back work...
