    McDonalds, KFC etc

    x2, I've never been found of the fast food joints. They lack any taste, it's just grease, salt etc... no flavour... I only have that kind of Junk food if I drive long distance out of city and there's nothing else around. If I eat out I will go for the real deal, at least it tastes good.

    Well, the two guys at my work who chug away can after can had to go through IVF. Their sperm was immobile. I'm not sure if it's related or not, but the cans and bottles do contain a lot of BPA and it's supposed to effect fertility. I'm just surprised that people on this forums worry so much...

    Thanks for the tip, that's something I've been looking for, also one which is very efficient on electricity. I like to cook up about 3-4 weeks of food, and just keep adding once or twice weekly and rotating. That way I don't have to eat the same thing more than 1 or 2 times per week.

    I've kept my quark in fridge for 5 days. I didn't have any issues, but 3 days are recommended. If you make too much you can always freeze it.

    I think it's more important how much powder you have used instead of how many litres of milk you have made. I would wash it, the issue is, the cultures will get infected by other bacteria. That's why you heat up the milk to sterilise it. What you can do is after the first 2 hours of fermenting...
