    Who here front squats?

    you'll be right Boz. keep chest and elbows high, keep lower back arched and tight. Squat down between your heels instead of back. If I remember you squat high bar anyway so it's closer to the front squat move than low bar, bum back type squats. start with the bar mate.

    Dicko is also about 20kg heavier than you and pretty much trains as a powerlifter so probably spends more time on squats and deads than bench. you're lifts are not pissweak. focus on squats and deads.

    Always take the biggest breath you can before you start the actual lift. If you squat in a monolift, you are better off taking it before you unrack. because someone else is there to lift the latch away and you just squat down.. no need to walk back and set your feet etc. Squatting in a power...

    why do you need to adjust it? are you gaining and losing weight that rapidly? don't you train at roughly the same time each day and eat similar amounts of food?

    Volleyball. being 5'10" I needed to jump higher. so needed bigger legs so did squats then noticed other lifting = other muscles. then got to the stage where body weight increase no longer = higher jumps then got shoulder issues from years of spiking then left volleyball and just continued lifting.

    so you believe that lunges and calf raises has made you gain weight? Boy I will slap you silly. lol What goes in your mouth changes your weight. if you are eating less than before, you must be training even less . I'm sure you understand that you have to either train more or eat even less.

    I don't have an opinion either way, but why do you think it's stupid? It has progression, has a rep till failure type set it has bulk higher rep assistance and it has a deload/easy week before starting it all over again with slightly more weight.

    I would call it something you put together from what you've read. Which is fine. But how can you progress on something that is at 90% of your max in the first week? Scott at PTC brisbane has a program he put together I'm sure he will respond to you soon. Markos and max from from PTC headquarters...

    How can we know what you go up by when you refer to it as a "powerlifting program" That doesn't tell anyone anything. Whose program are you following? Your log so far is a mixed bag of everything.
