I reckon you should probably have a bit more healing time before you hit the weights - but if you have to, maybe just stick with bench presses, where you're lying down, and not putting any stress on anything below your chest.

My physio seconded my self-diagnosis of Dupuytren's, but my GP thought it was a "ganglion" (those mysterious lumps [usually on the wrist] that you're supposed to get rid of by thumping them with a heavy Bible). I was sent for an ultrasound.

A) dunno - I was basically skinny, but with a gut coming on from age 27 (after I quit smoking) - I'd guess about 77kg, maybe less
B) ? to about 90kg
C) 177cm - I've also shrunk a bit since my youth
D) 85.4kg
E) 55 in May
F) about 1988 - 1996, not always consistently; 2003-2006, ditto...
