    Anyone do the Arnold Blueprint?

I ran his split from The Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding for 2 years. Its how I went from 70kg to 90kg. Training twice a day, 6 days a week is fun.

Cheng Chung Chih - 66kg Sub-junior deadlifts 290kg for the Open Asian record

Meh, IPF world records are about as real as they get. At least you know the standards are as legit as they can be across the board there. Edit: and that's not to take anything away from Lamar Gant, he was a beast, but he did pic the bar up, drop it, then try again in one attempt.

Cheng Chung Chih - 66kg Sub-junior deadlifts 290kg for the Open Asian record

Pulled raw in an equipped comp but actually beats the raw Open WR by 22.5kg. FML.

    1970's Powerlifters

I agree that top level comps should have decent qualifying totals so that the quality of competition and spectacle are decent, that said the low qualifiers at the first couple of PA Raw Nats worked well to develop interest in the event and I know they did the same at other fed's nats aswell.

    1970's Powerlifters

It was top 8 as well, so you had to be the top end of the division to make it, not just an A grade.

    1970's Powerlifters

Hardly. The majority of powerlifters I know are jacked and ripped, the heavies are the minority.

Woman's muscle tone too intimidating for gym members - Makes a spoof video

Ahh Planet Fitness. Literally the biggest joke on the planet. I really hope they never make it to Oz, but if they do I would get a free trial just to get banned.

    Arnold at his smallest?

Arnold was actually told to lose mass so he could get more movie roles.

    Strength/energy/endurance on meet day?

I eat well straight after weight in but try to avoid anything too heavy once I'm into my warm-ups. Don't want to walk out, do up my belt, squat, and then puke on the front ref after lockout.

Ze Blond Bomber. Had a lot going for him but should have laid off the drugs. Silly hippy.

    Sergio Oliva

Sergio was truly amazing. Structurally I think he was superior to Arnold, he just lacked the x-factor and the support that Arnold had.
