    Milk Powder

    Its got more protien than water, lol. But a poor substitute for protein powder. I take semi skimmed milk powder and protein powder in a shaker bottle to work, just add water.

    Who counts calories - accurately?

    I've been counting cals for a while now and have a list of my main meals serving size and cal content. Its pretty accurate and having a list saves alot of time.

    I've tried counting cals with 3 meals a day and the same cals with 4-5 meals a day. The 4-5 meals per day seems to work better for me. I have more energy and just feel better in general.     I normally eat 4 - 5 small meals, counting all the cals. I'm also a beliver in thefrequent meals speeds up metabolism theory.

    When is the best time to take protein powder?

    I have 3 serves of protein, 1 with breakfast, 1 midmorning and 1 after ecercise around 4pm ish (I take the 3rd around the same tine on non exercise days too) I use soy or whey, whichever is cheap. I've not tried the casien yet, as I don't like eating/drinking befor bed. Silly I know but still....

    Yeah lots of carbs there, you need more veg like Bree said. And the last inch or two from the gut is the hardest most stubborn, exercise resistant fat in the entire universe!!! It sucks man, it really does. you got to go spartan, NO beer, NO take away (not forever, just til the guts gone)...

    I'm a vegetarian so my protien intake is far lower than meat eaters. I have 2 or 3 soy protien shakes every day. We all know that protein is vital for muscle growth, so if you want muscles then it exercise, protein, a good diet and lots of water. Cant say weather it would benefit you for sure...

    Avoid fruit??? What a silly idea, fruit is full of natural goodness, sugars, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Remember dried fruit is quite high in sugar, so maybe avoid dried fruit.

    Help me wife, please...

    Michells plans to change her diet alot, by using Betty Baxter meal replacement shakes. And cutting right back on the junk and especialy the coke. She would like some ideas on exercises to train different muscle groups. Basicly she wants a second opinion to what exercises i've said. Cheers Mike.
