    opinions on "lean gains"

    Done it for about 8 weeks in the past. I can deal with the fasting part very easily. Can't deal with consuming so many calories in the 8 hour feeding period, even on a cut. Also, I always felt so tired after eating the first big meal of the day at 3pm, just wanted to sleep.

    Anything which can stress and overload your muscles, combined with a suitable diet, can build muscle. Anyone who says machines don't build muscle and only barbells do, is wrong.

    I suppose closest comparison would be a Cherry Ripe chocolate bar. It's good to have a few flavours available so you can rotate them around and not get bored of the same flavour all the time. Being able to bulk purchase 5kg, but in 5 separate flavours is a big plus.

    I recently got 5 flavours to try out: Choc coconut Choc cherry Choc honeycomb Chocolate Strawberry My plan was to take them with water and the flavours were ok, not overly strong, mild tasting. Strawberry was a little strange as it did not have much taste and foamed up alot which I don't like...

    I've been on around 2300 calories for quite a while now. And that includes about 500 calories from WPC in water, so I don't really eat much.

    The best thing about staying lean and going for slow gains (for me anyway), is not having to eat massive calories to bulk fast. I really don't like eating (lazy eater), so keeping calories as low as possible to grow slowly and not feeling tired and lethargic from overeating makes you feel alot...
