Fark, that's no good man. Any bruising or blood under the skin? Doc says just rest? Dont let it get you depressed though, that's the number 1 problem with injuries. Find another focus for a short while.. And ask the doc if you can do some BB work on the upper body

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Sorry I was probably a bit lax on my editing but I didn't mean the IPF issues were the reason it closed. Their post is clear on that was financial and council. I should have put in a different paragraph but what I meant is it's a shame people were against the fact they wanted their gym to be...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Pretty sad, sounds like what the gym was doing was ideal. A shame the IPF powers were against it.. The difficulty of making a profit in these locations is a shame. It's the main reason I have to train at Fitness First, because there's no PL gym within reasonable distance as the rents too...

    Tumeric and curcumin

I still remember Glutamine, everyone was taking it. A competitive bodybuilder at work used to rave about it, she swore it helped her maintain the musclemass. Then it turns out in the end it's all absorbed and used by the intestines. As for testosterone boosters - even if they do increase...

Household dust makes people fat, groundbreaking research indicates

Endocrine disruptors are awful, many women working in hair & nail salons get damaged by these chemicals and just have miscarriage after miscarriage, birth defects, boys born with genital abnormalities due to the excess estrogen etc. Same with people living around pesticides. Probably part of...

Was that ban really just for holding a novice comp? Or just a rumour?

Hi [you] and welcome to ausbb

Ahh I remember that too, not sure anymore as when I visit my parents the milk is already transferred into the decorated milk jug in the fridge :) Us young folk never appreciate proper presentation of food, I drink from the carton at home I didn't learn anything

Hi [you] and welcome to ausbb

Welcome Jason I actually lived in Nowra as a kid, went to Nowra "technology" high school. It must have worked as now I work in technology . That was 1997, but my parents still live there and it's now my free holiday destination. Nice place, love Jervis bay too.

Nice, I like rep PBs better doesn't smash you as bad as a 1RM. Did you tweak your pec on the deadlifts? Funny I did once as well on a hard set of 10 but my pecs are tight AF. Good idea on the ventilation under the arm too, I'm always looking for new ways to keep cool in the gym

Medium grip bench press vs Wide grip

Yep makes sense. Daiki is a freak, I heard he trains bench 5-6 times a week. He doesn't seem to have extremely short ROM but is just so much training he has to be good at it.

Medium grip bench press vs Wide grip

Thanks guys, flat Bench today does feel more comfortable wider than incline bench grip. That's a great writeup by sticky as well. Getting tight as possible certainly makes the bar feel alot lighter. Getting the shoulders back as part of the setup really allowed a painless experience for my...

Medium grip bench press vs Wide grip

For wide grip I mean the IPF one finger touching the ring - i.e. the index finger. Ring finger on the rings feels most comfortable for me as well and is what I used to use. Interesting bigger guys can benefit closer, do you mean bigger as in 105s or bigger as in 120+? I like the idea of saving...
