    buying a rack - where?

I bought the MMPR power rack from Gymndirect (they are 5 minutes from me), good stuff, sturdy and the pull up chin up bar is excellent. Plus you get a 10% discount as a member here, so make sure you mention it.

Classic, pay that. :D:D:D Actually Maybe I'll post it on my power rack, just to encourage me to finish a set.

    "Rule of Thumbs"

Thanks for the advice, I wasn't setting limits but goals, but looking at them again, they were too low, so I have adjusted them. I understand both points of view and appreciate taking the time to encourage me. As a newbie when you are new to the forum with zip all knowledge, talk of military...

    "Rule of Thumbs"

And I trust a nice bloke whose Dad is very proud of him...On ya. Picking up on Kyle's comments, I'm the 43yo, no training or exercise for 20 years, sedentary lifestyle, with different goals and expectations of what I might lift. I want to be fit and strong, but it is unlikely I will achieve...

    FIFA World Cup 2010

Yup spot on, that would be awesome, but I'm not sure where my loyalties would lie. At least one of them would get through to the next round. Certainly if Oz beat the Poms and sent them home it would almost be a public holiday, plus into the quarters. Couldn't see it though. Still if it happened...

    FIFA World Cup 2010

Marzz said "England don't have the bottle, and are relying on Stevie G, Rooney and Lampard. Rio is average at best and JT has had the worst season in recent memory. Plus you don't have a decent goalie." When you have not won a world cup for 44 years it is hard to argue they won't choke, they...

    FIFA World Cup 2010

I want the Roos to get out of their group, that would be awesome. If Rooney is fit, then England will be firing. Lampard over Gerard and I think England are a real chance. Brazil will be favourites of course.

    Way to eat tuna!

This is a bit off topic, but I hate fish, but I have started eating tuna, they only think I could stomach and now am starting to like is the Greenseas spicy chili, having it with eggs for lunch. My family can't believe their eyes. I know..I know...but for me this is a monumental change.

[Article] The most important program is often neglected until you…CRASH!

I'm not slack...I don't even do any warm up! Thanks for the reminder, I will integrate this into my workout, cos I was just thinking how I was picking up a few niggles and soreness lately and that I should do some warm up to avoid a serious injury, because I would hate to stop the workouts, I'm...

Granted, I meant we were their first NRL club, ie we didn't pay big bucks to get ready made players.

How long can you leave your protien shake mixed?

Good question, I'll be interested in the answer.

[Rugby] Rugby League & Rugby Union discussions.

I understand that, and in the end, I'm willing to cop the punishment, we cheated. But we have also lost lots of players, every year we have shed players, it's just that most don't want to play in the NRL after playing with us, so they have gone overseas, guys like Matty king, Dallas Johnston...

[Rugby] Rugby League & Rugby Union discussions.

Here's another take from a Storm member, whilst I'll cop the punishment, I would say this, most of the overspend was on players we developed. We didn't buy them in, we developed at our own club, and they wanted to stay at our club... That same spirit (the best in the NRL) is evident in the way...

Sugar & Milk in your eating plan.

Thanks, I have now googled, current science seems to be most of the benefits of tea are blunted by milk...black tea seemed to be recommended.

Sugar & Milk in your eating plan.

Sorry to side track - but what is the deal with tea. I have about 3-4 cups of white tea a day, is there something specifically wrong with tea? I did a search but turned up a blank but seemed to have picked up that it is bad somehow. Cheers.

Post up what you are eating

Impressive Shrek, I hate fish, never eaten it (apart from flake, whiting...even then) till I bumped into you blokes. I now have tuna (disgusting) and chilli 3 times a week, it is barely edible...what we do for the cause. ;)
