    SO you would grade each movement as equal to each other in terms of muscle building qualities? TBH I'm not really sure which one would be the ultimate muscle builder, I think a conventional dead is probably the best overall compound movement, but maybe not the best for hyertrophy of the back...

    Bwahahahaaaaaa:D, Darkos, you make me LMAO sometimes LOL I don't like soy at all...yuk, but almond milk is ok, don't think it tastes as good as plain whole fat milk though. If I were you mick, just add less normal milk and a bit of water to your shakes. I use to do that because it tasted better...

    LOL, nope....and some of the instruction from the trainer guy is woeful, LMFAO when he was teachin back squats. But alas it is the only thing on TV with a barbell 99% of the time.

    Rest/Recovery Days

    When I strength train i only train Mon/Wed/Fri.....Only did it for 2 months and results blew me away, I'm going back to it. Come to think of it, both the beginner routine and the PPP routine gave me the best results I have ever had.....both were Mon/Wed/Fri.

    Hmm, interesting, thanks wingman. So he says rack pulls just above the knee will build your back like nothing else.     Calf stiff/swollen

    Could be your achilies tendon where it joins on the calf muscle, maybe you tore it a bit........the swelling makes me think it isn't DOMS. I've never swollen up from DOMS, just got sore.

    Thanks for the advice fellas, I think I'm just gonna stick to normal deadlifts from the floor until I have any real issues after reading this. haven't got any real problems as of yet, my deadlift is fairly even the whole way through the lift so I just need to work on overall strength to get it...

    Definitely a big improvement D1cko, just generally bigger all over, looks awesome. I think your biggest improvements so far are chest, upper back and quad sweep....you actually have a bit of quad sweep now lol :p. EDIT: after another squiz i would say you have developed some awesome traps too...
