    Best online PT courses?

The online ones are all crap. The in-person ones are mostly crap. The key thing is the person's own experience. Every would-be trainer should have a trainer before becoming one. And they should have gone to a certain level in their own training. Then practice teaching others correct movement...

Are mass gainers good for powerlifting?

Tarasoft, begin by focusing on good food. By which I mean, most of your shopping should be from the butcher, fishmonger or greengrocer. Less from the packeted sections of the supermarket. Once you are eating mostly good food (mostly - you're a person, not a monk) then you look to your lifting...

To those who got into general fitness a little later in life

I don't care about the sports, but having more physical ability and confidence would have carried over usefully to my social, love and work lives.

Can this physique be achieved naturally (IFBB pro Jaco De Bruyn)

It's the answer he needs. It's like the bb.com Misc kids writing about $250k ceo jobs when they're at uni and just started their job at Macca's. From your posts it seems you just got started, OP. Keep going and you'll find out how far you can do.

Think of training as taking you from A to B. That's Z. First, get to B.

Storing a Barbell outside...Ideas inside. Advice?

Not outside, but my garage, so it does get exposed to a lot more variation of temperature and moisture than it would in a regular airconditioned gym. I find the rubber mats get more flaky, the bumper plates have more edges brush off, and the bars are more prone to rust. Not much we can do about...

Markos would never say "110% natural", he is not against using drugs for performance, only against using drugs for fun. He thinks the whole thing is a farce. But he is less cynical than me, he thinks WADA is honest but misguided, I don't think they're honest. You didn't watch the documentary...

    easy doesn't work

I doubt these guys talked to the scientists. I encouraged the scientists to go talk to them, though. I gave Robert Morton the contact details of Sullivan, the lead guy on this panel - Toronto and Detroit aren't too far. Both sides sit there like little kids on either end of the playground...

110% natural, bro. For reference, here is the German documentary on Russian doping which led to the investigation and subsequent banning of so many Russians (the athletes writing to WADA got no response, it wasn't till this went on telly that anything happened). Now, is it just Russia? Well...

I can't speak of Pritchard and Wilks' relationship. What I can say is this: ASADA often works off anonymous tips. ASADA will only do X out of competition tests on each sport each year. Funding and all that. Now, if you were the head of a sport, and you knew some of the athletes were using, and...

The people who are complaining about nasty ASADA guys are generally not in good with the head of their sport. For example, google up images of "Tia Clair Toomey crossfit." Looking at those, judge the likelihood of her being lifetime drug free. Now consider that she did not give up crossfit...

Nor do I. It's worth bearing in mind that doses about the levels of modern TRT (30-50mg pw) were what was used on athletes back at the start of the steroid age in the late 1950s. Did those work? Well, they didn't get any weaker... But in any case it is apparently what they are currently doing...

    easy doesn't work

A study was done purporting to show that load doesn't matter for results.Since the study told the public what it wanted to hear - that easy works - it was widely and enthusiastically reported without any serious analysis or discussion. I corresponded with the authour, and he and his colleagues...

Microdosing. So you just take a little bit but for a long time - as you would with TRT prescribed by a doctor for your health. So it takes you to the top end of normal. They test you. you're the top end of normal, nobody thinks twice. If they were to do an isotopic test they'd get you, but they...

All of them. Several of Bolt's team-mates have previous doping offences. They share the same coach and same doctor. But they were allowed to run once they'd served their suspensions, and certainly nobody would think of banning Bolt just because some team-mate had tested positive. After all...

the what u saw at the gym TODAY thread

Last night I was sitting there as a client set up for her deadlifts. Then I suddenly remembered a 100kg pull from a 68yo woman is not something you normally see in gyms, so I got up and filmed it. You get so caught up in your own little world you sometimes forget this stuff.
