    Back to government funding, I recall reading that the government only recognises one association per sport for funding purposes, which in the current case is PA. CAPO and GPC or even ADFPA would not be able to access government funding for subsidised testing even if they wanted it.

    I found my Nike 3.0s terrible once you start shifting significant weights - too much compression in the soles. Great for everything else though - finally got a new pair!

    socks :) I use wrestling shoes which are pretty similar to what bradders suggests although they have a lot of grip (similar to indoor court sports shoes)

    Strapping worked well for me. Took a month or so for it to go away. Daily stretching as recommended by the physio resolved the issue for me.

    Beginners program

    go straight for the free weights. start with an empty barbell for all movements. As you are increasing weight by 2.5kg after each session that you complete all the reps, it doesn't matter what your 1rm is at the start.

    in that case there really isn't much you can do except when ever possible - rest / relax. to me your training schedule doesn't seem excessive. You could always try the sleep supplements (ZMA, etc) or a big glass of warm milk with honey or milo before bed!

    Just after some info on greens products - Bulk Nutrients Greens Products Has anyone used and/or can recommend them and what are they meant to help with? I feel that I need to get more greens in my diet but struggling to actually eat more veg (currently get about 2 cups veg per meal)
