    looking for good supplements

See the attachment. Heard it is the best! :) As Lex said, give a bit more info, but nutrition and training are what is going to get you most of the way there. Supplements can help that a little, but won't do much if nutrition and training aren't happening / are wrong.

Weightlifter Dies In A Power Lifting Competition

Poor guy. Had a guy in my gym try to tell me to bench with that grip... thought no way. Same with people telling me to collar it. I already have that healthy fear when I bench press, and I ain't even lifting that much.

    Mars & Venus - Questions & Answers

It's all case by case isn't it? If someone explained to me that time was an issue, the last thing I'd be doing them is uber-hassling them to get a free time... especially early on. There could be some simple confusion here too. We all know that what a woman thinks she says is different from...

    August Push Up Challenge.

Ok time for some results. My chest measurement was 93cm on the 22nd of July. Today it is 104cm. I'm only a little way into Starting Strength as a beginner, so it's likely some of the gains are from that (lat growth contribution also). But pretty happy because as far as measurements went in...

Sorry bailed on you buddy, but when you've been up most of the night on an urgent project and looking at a repeat tonight, I think I need to postpone my workout :(

    September Challenge

How about the volume - about right? And time - how long to complete? Going to do it daily? I'm likely to start doing 3 or 4 of them each session, 3 times a week alongside my current workouts. Each should get done minimum twice a week that way - and I'm allowing for some recovery time.

    September Challenge

Not sure mate - as I mentioned though, if you're already quite strong in some of these, make them twice a week or even daily, and add extra sets and reps. I haven't done much in the way of abs, that's the whole idea of posting it. If it's too easy I'll notice pretty quick and adjust my volume?

    beginner powerlifting program

See I am at the same level as the OP, and I have the Rippetoe videos, and then get given direct advice off this forum to look at the "so you think you can squat" video... and I do see a difference between them - e.g. the first thing I noticed was head position and where you focus your eyes. So...

DISCUSSION: Should dole participants be drug tested?

Haha Captain Freedom. Or quoting him as Blain in Predator " This stuff will make you a god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me. "

DISCUSSION: Should dole participants be drug tested?

What bugs me is not only the taxes people pay that may get abused and used incorrectly by those on benefits (which does royally piss me off, but I won't get into that amount), but the amount of $'s wasted on running Centrelink itself. Government ain't efficient, and the more people are able to...
