    Sim Racing

There is heaps of feedback through the wheel, just like in real life. If I hit a ripple strip to hard, I have to wrestle it. Hydrolic seat and VR headset are coming next.

    Sim Racing

Yeah, its wild. This game (PC2) is far more forgiving then the simulation I race in. I like jumping into this one and flogging the tits off a few cars. It doesn't look like anyone else races here though!

    Sim Racing

Just had a bash around Bathurst in a mustang on PC2. Not the best lines, but a PB none the less ha. Sorry the screen is so bright, you can’t see much of the track. How I didn’t crash coming down the back side of the mountain I’ll never know haha

The clutch has friction points, so it’s not “on-off”. You can ride it out when taking off, and it won’t shift unless you use the clutch properly. Some cars you can flat change, but if you need to use the clutch in real life, like the Mx5, you need to use it in sim.

    Sim Racing

It’s a lot of fun. Here is a (long) lap time of the ring in an AMG GTS GT3 car (DCT) Or a lap around Laguna Seca in my MX5 (stick shift)

Anyone else in here do any sim racing? I mostly only race on iRacing, but sometimes jump into PC2 for a bash around.

    Stickys Guide To Knee Wraps.

Toying of the idea of trying knee wraps? Got knee wraps, but didn't actually put any real thought into what wraps to buy? Here is a little article I wrote on the different types of wraps that are available and what wrap I think suits what style best. Taken from...

How many of you do both barbell bench press and dumbbell bench press?

More with all my clients then myself these days. I can't handle any real volume, otherwise it'd be with me too.

How many of you do both barbell bench press and dumbbell bench press?

Lots of DB benching until 8 weeks out from a PL meet, then none.

I don't see us doing that any time soon. CAPO tried it, it just made everything really hard. Keep it simple, it's more fun that way.

    Squat shoes

IMO Crossfit lites are one of the best shoes..... But they no longer make them. I read that they are doing a re-run, at 150USD though........ Not paying that much.

Whether they have it or not, it’s not where near up to standard. Hopefully it will be sooner rather then later.

    Australian Powerlifting Union thread

I know lots of people aren’t joining due to the lack of competition, but without them joining, the competitions won’t grow. APU has the chicken and egg problem at the moment, but hopefully by years end they will be big enough.

What am I wrong about? I think you may have mistaken Woodys post for me. Im not trying to slander anyone. I want APU to succeed lol.

I agree with all of that, but it doesn’t really have anything to do with my post lol. And a a lot of lifters don’t really rate testing as the most important factor when choosing a fed, even when they’re clean.

The rule was adopted by wilks, then made even worse. As long as I'm subjected to testing, I believe I can join the APU. I can not join PA. If an APU member is still subject to testing, as far as I know, they can do my local novice meets, and most likely my GPC meets; as long there are no...

Gets wilks out, then powerlifters will be free to mingle. Opens more ore pathways for lifters to go into IPF words. Allows me access to new lifters. Allows new lifters to my meets.

I actually agree with almost all of that. I hate wraps, and I hate Monolifts. But none of that is drama, just opinions. GPC is growing every month, and with some great new initiatives being launched at the AGM this year, it won’t be slowing. Thats all off topic though. I hope APU does...
