    yeah its meant to be really good for grooving consistancy in a lifter.. most work up to 85% on a good day, so if your hitting that weight, you should be cracking 100 soon good luck

    solid solid lift!! I hit 90kg at 73, but then got injured and other stuff so wasnt lifting, and have only just started again.. failed a couple of attempts with 80kg friday arv.. ill be back a better lifter soon enough

    Its just stronglifts 5x5 with a set routine for the optional accessory work.. just do stronglifts and add your own accesory work as you please, keep it simple, track the main shit youll get strong with the straight 5x5 and youll look damn good adding dips, pull ups and lunges as accessory

    I'm not the one to give you advice on programming, but I can't see why if you like the look of 531 you can't do it, it's not an advanced program and gives loads of recovery time

    I have no idea what my speeds were, I played off 5 and hit an 8 iron from 155, I'm 5'7 maybe 5'8.. Probably hit a 3 wood about same as driver, just straighter

    You found being stronger helps you hit it further? I've never known anyone to be like that. Though the strength in your forearms will help with bad rough and poached eggs in the bunker

    I'll agree, at the risk of being shit down for this, I have never really understood how people think madcow (1x5)is a more advanced program than stronglifts(5x5).. I know I've just quoted 2 program's your gona hate, but you know what I mean?!?!

    Yeah it's annoying.. That suprises me that's all you've seen, I haven't really seen squatting done to the volume I get the impression you want it to be done.. I know the guys who will be heading to Glasgow, and I haven't seen them do massive volume, the Chinese do more, but still nothing crazy...

    Just out of curiosity, you seem to be a knowledgable lad.. Why are you so against basic linear progression, when the whole world seems to say to milk it for everything you can? I'm not necessarily disagreeing, just wondering why?
