    Hopefully the new fed won't be set up in such a way that discourages casual powerlifters, or to be owned by one person (which seems to be why PA / OPF were turfed in their entirety from the IPF). Seems a bit petty that Wilks has registered the domain names associated with the new fed already.

    Yes there is, I believe they hold all of their comps including Nationals in Cobdogla SA :D Pretty sure their drug testing dosen't fall in line with WADA etc.

    I think that powerlifting will remain a niche sport until such a time when you can run a comp in a normal commercial gym with no specialised equipment. PA at least does not seem interested in growing powerlifting outside the city gyms.

    I don't support it, but I don't think it should be illegal. I will support gay marriage when gays support the choices of businesses, people and religious institutions to be opposed to it, or to not want to engage with homosexual couples.

    That's right - Electoral College is what counts - proportional representation. No tyranny of the majority in the US, otherwise the counties with the highest populations would have the largest say how how the rest of the country is governed. I suggest you read up more on how US politics works...
