All good. I'm just worried for Mick that his obsession is turning into a mental disorder.

What are you or what did you train today?

Massive Sunday lunch of spicy Indian food. Then went and trained heavy deadlifts and legs. Was a bit touch and go.

If you're so healthy, prove it. Weight, measurements, blood work, progress tracking, etc. Put your money where you mouth is. The benefit or rice cakes or any other specifically selected macro heavy food is nutritional partitioning. I see food as a fuel source or simply building blocks for my...

    Motivation help

Workout in a way you enjoy. If you look forward to it, it won't feel like you're fitting it in or have to. Some ideas: - Sign up to a new gym. A new place and new equipment will make you feel like you've made a significant change. - Trial some different training programs. - Find outdoor cardio...

You're not required to squat, so why are you?

I squat because it's one of the hardest and taxing exercises in the gym. I feel that it also makes your body work as one, develops any weak links and helps with functional strength. Even though doing 100% leg presses for leg work might give a bit more growth, I think there's merit in doing...

Between 20-30 degrees. Anything above and you'll be working the shoulders more and it's harder to isolate the chest.

The Bad News Bears https://en.wikipedia..._Bad_News_Bears A movie that I'd heard was a great classic, but damn, the remake dominates free-to-air screen time. After watching it, I can sort of understand why. This has got to be one of the most politically incorrect movies I've seen in a long...

    Need a new routine

I think because Headley said he prefers the bro splits. I agree though that maybe it's a little too complex for someone getting back into training. Especially the strength days; 2RM seems risky for someone getting back into the groove.

    The movie heads-up thread

Argo 06/10/2016 8:30pm 9Go! No excuses fatboys: step your way to health

I'd love to be able to hit more, but there just isn't enough time in the day to go for long walks and listen to podcasts.

No excuses fatboys: step your way to health

Working an office job, I try to hit at a minimum of 7,500 steps a day. And double that on weekends. If after training I'm still below, I'll walk the long way home. Seems to be working quite well.

Thanks. Yeah people seem to have got lost along the way. Once upon a time this was a bodybuilding/powerlifting/fitness forum. Well that's what I assumed when I signed up. It's a sign of the times when you get bagged for following a protocol and eating healthy, and then encourage others to get...
