Advice for removing man boobs request

I don't understand what stretching or tensing the muscle has to do with man boobs which aren't muscle mass at all.

Lookings to get a power rack vs squat roack

Generally yes, the arms will be able to be positioned quickly, depends on the rack design. They may slide in thru holes in the front and rear or drop in to notches in the frame or hang off hooks or some other design...but they can all be moved quickly. Should be able to press inside the rack...

    Pre-Workout Supplement Thread

Just throwing this one out here at late notice, iHerb have 15% pre-workouts but I think it ends in around 4 hours. Says it ends July 26th at 10am which I assume is in state's time as my order came thru with 6am on it. Managed to pick up a couple of tubs of Metabolic Nutrition's ESP for about...

How Much Protein Do We Need (How many Protein Shakes per Day)??

I don't either. Cranky/moody and just flat feeling like I CBF doing anything or don't have the energy to do anything. They may not be essential for a normal human to stay alive but like protein, the needs differ when you are training

Quest Bars!! The Ultimate Brotein Bar

I've gone as low as around 1g/kg purely for a maintenance phase of around 3-4 months. Overall cals were aimed at keeping the same weight so it can't really be compared to if I would grow at the same rate. If I'm going to up the cals to increase weight though, in that instance protein would be...

Quest Bars!! The Ultimate Brotein Bar

That's fair enough but as mentioned before, what are you evaluating other than taste with just one sample? I'd be more interested in you buying a kg of protein and running it for a month or two until it runs out and then evaluating your findings rather than one serving

How Much Protein Do We Need (How many Protein Shakes per Day)??

That's not my point at all. It's that 0.8g/kg isn't enough to promote muscle growth. You need double or more, which ends up at the 1.5-2g mark again. I only eat 2 meals per day and supplement 50g of protein via powder. I don't eat 300g of meat for lunch and then again for dinner. Sure I could...

How Much Protein Do We Need (How many Protein Shakes per Day)??

A couple of points where I will disagree... 1) 0.8g/kg by the RDA is their number to simply maintain your current mass. They're not interested in promoting muscle growth, which surely requires a higher than normal intake? 2) That's for the average male which means an average activity level. I...

    BN Future Whey

Of course, recomp is the ultimate. It may happen eventually over the long term but short term is likely more a yoyo of loss and gain for a natty. You mean 1g/kg? The bulk of the studies in the link all favour higher protein intakes when compared to low ones apart from one which went the other...

    BN Future Whey

Not sure I agree...loads of studies in the link below where 2g/kg or 1g/lb is the general consensus. Talking about gaining muscle here, which is hard to do in a deficit. When in a deficit, you're really looking to just preserve as much muscle mass as you can rather than build more...

No artificial sweeteners? Why did you order the Future Whey sample? Plenty of Sucralose in that bad boy too!

    BN Future Whey

The age old rule of 1g per lb of body mass to gain muscle puts the average 85kg guy up around 185-190g...not saying it's impossible or even really difficult but it can be convenient when a couple of serves of a supplement per day contribute 50g or more of that amount. Plus things can start...

What about for the purpose of protein supplementation? (As that is what it is intended to be used for).

    BN Future Whey

I had the lemonade, reckon it tastes pretty good. Up there with Xtend and whatnot if you wanted to use it intra workout. Not as heavy as a whey based protein for post workout. Haven't looked at the cals per serve though so may serve better on a cut than whey protein as well

    BN Future Whey

    Cheaper per kilo numpty, you don't get the higher quantity for the same price. 1kg = $27 2kg = $49 or $24.5/kg 3kg = $69 or $23/kg 20kg = $360 or $18/kg Not sure where I got $2/kg from though

    BN Future Whey

You can choose flavoured or raw, pretty sure it's the same price http://www.bulknutrients.com.au/products/whey-protein-concentrate.html

    BN Future Whey

Primarily as a protein supplement though? Most gym rats that take aminos wouldn't take it for the protein content, probably wouldn't even know it's a good source of protein!
