How far do you ride to work?

In the council built dedicated bike lanes.

How far do you ride to work?

Yep, the reason I'll never call myself a cyclist. The biggest self entitled knobs ride bikes, especially weekend mornings. They'll ride outside the bike lane, intentionally blocking traffic, complain that it's their right, then conveniently ignore the road rules and run red lights. I guess it's...

How far do you ride to work?

Yeah I'm pretty lucky as it's 90% dedicated bike lanes and paths all the way to work. Typically Adelaide roads are pretty good with bike lanes. Definitely give it a go.

    Strength Runner

Additional weight definitely slowed me down, but I think it's any weight, not necessarily muscle gain. I've never been a runner either, and I think my technique is pretty bad. I completed the half marathons I did by being determined and pushing through mentally. Definitely my least favourite...

    Arnold Press.

Yep, one of my favourite shoulder exercises. Usually do lower weight and higher reps to increase time under tension and reduce injury risk. Most people I see do this do it totally wrong. Probably the same people who say it hurts. It's actually 2 movement. 1. Keeping elbow as chin level, rotate...

How far do you ride to work?

9kms each way. Takes about 20 minutes if I get a good run with the lights. Slightly hilly, but good for interval training. Should have done it years earlier. No traffic in the morning to stress about. Save about $30 a week on fuel; and the only fuel I need is food. Pretty much eat what I want...

Are lifting straps for the weak?

So you should let your deadlift and bent over rows suffer/plateau until your grip may or may not catch up? That's like saying never to use any chest support equipment, just get a strong core. Bit of a narrow minded view.

Four Corners investigate Australia’s vitamins and supplement’s industry

You're confusing regulations and industrialised prescriptions of medication. Regulations are there to keep the drug companies honest, nothing more. The marketing and profiting off the drugs is where the problem is. And this has nothing to do with the original point.

Are lifting straps for the weak?

I use them for the exact same exercises and progressed way faster with them than without. I do plenty of body weight pull ups, etc, so grip and forearm development is fine. To me it seems stupid to allow your grip to be the limiting factor.

Four Corners investigate Australia’s vitamins and supplement’s industry

Are you even from Australia? You're brining the shitty US health system into this discussion that is muddying the waters. Either way, regardless of what medicines cost/subsidies, the regulations are there to make sure what you're taking actually works. Who cares if you can get some shitty herbal...

Four Corners investigate Australia’s vitamins and supplement’s industry

Like Bazza said, you can't have it both ways. If you leave it up to the market to determine what works/doesn't or even what should be sold, people will exploit others to make a buck. 100%, no buts. I think I'm getting a whiff of an anti-vaxxor.

Four Corners investigate Australia’s vitamins and supplement’s industry

As opposed to pseudo science? Sorry, I'm going to side with the medical experts on this topic, and not the people getting fired for dodgy journalism.

Four Corners investigate Australia’s vitamins and supplement’s industry

That episode got pulled from repeat as well as ABC online streaming. The doctor also got let go. The people interviewed in that episode were all bias toward the sale or alternative sales to statins. Glad to see the ABC clamping down on junk science.

Danny Green v Anthony Mundine 2

I think the whole spectacle has exposed how dumb and unsportsman the general population is. I like the UFC and other combat sports for the actual sport and competition. I usually don't care who wins or loses, and certainly don't want to see anyone seriously hurt. But all that people have talked...
