    Work out the rough macros/calories you are wanting to eat - work out the rough kind of foods you want to eat included in the macros/calories - try and stick with meat, veggies, rice, potato, fish, fruit etc - "cleanish" foods - add some "cheat" style foods in so you don't go mad and go from...

    Ive seen alot of the time with "enhanced" bodybuilders they bulk into the comp - i.e there off-season is alot of the time when they eat the least amount of food.

    Yea that's right - there is still merit to "cutting"/"bulking" but you need to maybe make it more into "phase" eating where your slowly increasing calories or decreasing over time and not to one extreme or another which alot of the old school methods are based on.

    From someone who has yo-yo dieted for years and now find themselves at 125-130kgs - I would suggest not to follow the old school hardline of cut and bulk - I did this for along time and yes I got results (to a degree) but long term I now believe it nearly destroys your ability to eat "normally"...

    When I did my PT course (8 or so years ago now) I took very little out of the course besides of my bits of paper saying I am qualified - I basically did it so I could get a job in a gym...I used very little that I learnt though. Most information etc I used was from personal study, my own...

    Have not seen enough studies on coconut water to really see what the impact on hydration/replacing electrolytes is - I know alot of sports teams now have now replaced the old Powerade/Gatorade with Coconut Water - but for your avg everyday trainer I don't think it will make much difference tbh...
