Hey guys,

im 24yrs old just had some blood work done which showed very low test

SHBG 32

Free testosterone 103pmol/L

Now im getting second tests done to look at LH, FSH, Proactin, cortisol and iron

However im very new to all this stuff so am trying to study up a bit about it , and i'm not sure if my doctor is the right guy to help me with this. So if any of you guys know of a good doctor or specialist in PERTH could you please PM the details etc.
have to be honest feel a bit overwhelmed by the all the info etc.

cheers

testosterone 7 nmol/L (8-29)
SHBG 32 nmol/L (15-45)
FAI 17 (35-93)
Free test 103 pmol/L (198-619)

FSH 11 U/L (2-12)

Been referred to an endocrinologist for further testing,

Again if any of you boys have any information on the best way for me to approach this it would be greatly appreciated.

theoretically they shouldn't argue with the raw numbers, but if you wanna make sure your test is a little lower to try and "massage" the figures a little, try having a can of coke or something in the morning before you go as insulin effects test levels.
be aware though, that if you do go on HRT you should get some sperm frozen in case you wanna have kids as spermogenesis can come to a halt from as little as 12months continuous use of exogenous hormones.
although i'm from perth, i don't know and endo's that could help. a guy from my work says he has a doctor willing to puting him on hrt, so i could try n grab his detalis for you, if you like?

That would be very much appreciated, unless it is Dr. Z, whom i have just found and is pretty awesome. Based on my results he sees no problems in me getting approved HRT

Yeah that is better than average. Your legs and arms look a little soft, though your back is great dude, you got an awesome back going on there!

thank you sir, injured my back with DLs so last 2 years have consisted of chin ups and more chin ups

I'm in Perth too, did everything the Dr said to get the best result as possible and my test showed 11 nmol/L (8-29), apparently I fall in a "grey area" and as a result the 2 Dr's ive seen wont help, their reply is 'although low, you're within range...sorry" if one of you guys could pm me one of those sympathetic Dr's you were talking about, it would be greatly appreciated.

:)

Seriously. What do you guys want the Dr's to do. You are within the normal range and get upset that the docs don't prescribe TRT.

I'm pretty sure if doctors were prescribing blood pressure or cholesterol medication to people in the normal range we would have everyone on here saying how shit doctors are and its a big pharma conspiracy to make more money or what ever other shit. But anyone not in the high end of normal test wants to be prescribed TRT.

Shop around, it's not illegal for a doctor to prescribe testosterone for any purpose. Even performance enhancement. In court, they are not allowed to use medical records as evidence. It's between you and the doctor always. You'll find someone that is willing to presribe, there are a lot of doctors in Perth

I can think of two or three doctors in Perth who were made scapegoats for the "assistance" they provided to boneheads.

Cries to doctor for HRT when testosterone levels are normal = fag city.

Basically, if your levels are less than 19 nmol/l, you're fucking screwed from a health perspective
First step is getting body fat under control and natural human diet. If you have low testosterone after a year, for health reasons I'd highly recommend TRT

6 nmol/L 43yo 175kg Bench, maybe 2-3 times a week of training when I'm home

I don't feel screwed

As an aside, I don't think how much you can lift is an indication of how healthy you are
And 0ni, I'm pretty sure it's illegal for doctors to prescribe drugs for illegal use.

have you posted yours anywhere? be interesting to see how such a little change yields big results... or are they not little changes?

nah and I have no copies, only electronic at doctors
I'll get some maybe tomorrow, I'll go to doctors and get them. I'll be interested in my cholesterol for sure, as I was taking arimidex for a fair few weeks which I have stopped now. But then also eating a very low calorie diet with lots of training. When my thyroid completely shat itself, everything was pretty much perfect then and testosterone was at a little over 29
