With all the WPI/WPC wars going on at the moment I am considering alternative protein powder sourches.
Now before commenting consider this is the "SUPPLEMENTS" section of the forum, so I don't want any responses telling me about chicken, beef, eggs or any other whole food sources from the 'usual suspects'![Roll eyes :rolleyes: :rolleyes:](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f644.png)
Now I have been around for a while, may be too long a while, but I remember first training with weights in about 1983, and I bought my first Aussie made Samson bench and weight plates in about 1986 or 1987, which I still own and use today, so yes I have been around for a while.
Back in the day the only supplements widely available were made by Weider (as in Joe Weider), and most people training back then used either Weider Protein or Albumen (Egg White Powder) or both, as well as Desiccated Liver Tablets.
I have recently obtained about 3-4 months supply of Universal Nutrition Desiccated Liver Tablets, with another 4 month supply on back order. Have started taking them as directed this week (two tablets with every meal as well as two before bed) Google the claimed benefits of liver yourself if you are interested or have never heard about this stuff. (also a source of quality protein).
I only just started considering egg white powder as a protein supplement again.
Anyone still use it??
What do people think??

And yes I do eat meat and eggs, this powder is just to fill in blanks with minimal calorie intake.
