Depends what you're putting in it. If it's just protein or pre-workouts, then a 400 is fine for 2 scoops. If you're adding bulk stuff to it or blending it up then the larger the better
 
And the "size doesn't matter" option, that's something only people with a small shaker would say!
 
750mL all the way. Even if you fill it to halfway, shaking it and making it mix is a whole lot easier than trying the same with a jampacked 400mL.
