Thought I would ask for some opinions around here.
I'm currently injured and I can't train properly as a result. I can do some things but exercise choices are very limited and I'm not allowed go high intensity or push myself.
But in the weeks since the injury I have gained a few kilos as to be honest I've been eating like I'm still training and probably some extra crap as I get hungry when bored and can't do anything. I'm already wanting to lose fat so any gain is bad. I'm giving up my goal of gaining muscle/strength as I just can't train that way but I would like to at least maintain as much of what I already have.
So how to I go about eating?
On one hand I want to control the weight and if possible lose some but on the other hand I want to give my body all the things it needs to best heal as fast I can. So how do I best balance those two things?
