I'm in Sydney this week, staying at the Amora on Jamison Street, the gym is tiny and basically just full of treadmills. Are there any pay-as-you-go gyms within walking distance? Don't need anything fancy.
Also any recommendations on where I can get some clean meals would be much appreciated.

I get an hour in the morning to workout and I'd love to get lean, get strong, get fit (as anyone would) but given time, age and recovery, is it actually possible to do all things?
I love strength training, I love sprinting, I love long distance running, I love HIIT workouts. Is it possible to...

Last year I trained for the Melbourne Marathon and have to say now that I did actually enjoy running, whilst I have never been good at it and being larger, I was slow but enjoyed getting out there hitting the pavement/grass. The issue I had was my weight being over 100kg's.
Since that venture...

Hi everyone
Hoping for some advice on 2.4km time trial for police entry test. In Feb I started training x 5 days at the gym, combination of strength work and conditioning and fat loss (I was 30kg heavier then) . In July I started running the 2.4 distance as a warm up prior to training. I would...

Whether you’re a one-miler or a marathoner, chances are you’re thinking the exact same thing as the jogger next to you.
How do we know? Science told us.
A recent study required participating runners to verbalize their thoughts, stream-of-consciousness style. A tape recorder strapped to their...
Hi @Silverback
Got a question for you, I have been trains calves every second day since I realised they were 1/2"
smaller than my bis.
Its worked well, with that and extra cycling I've been doing they are stating to look good, so I'm on the get big calves fad.
I have been doing standing and...

I have just recently started Rippetoe's Practical Programming program. I am pretty excited about taking on something new, however I do have a lingering concern that on this program, my running and cycling will inevitably suffer. According to his program...
How far apart should your legs be when you squat? I've experimented with a couple of distances, and I feel like I'm getting the best workout with them far apart, but it also feels pretty hard on the knees...when they're close together it feels better, but also much easier
i've been told...
