I often hear Calories In vs Calories Out when referring to weight loss.
Is this actually true?
Is it really that simple or do other factors play a role?
Is it a sustainable realistic long term method to control weight?
Please qualify your answers with some evidence of why it works or why it...

I know a lot of peeps here say "cardio pffftt!"
But, do we need sustained (12-15 min) aerobic exercise? Not talking about high intensity weights, but actual cardio at a sustained higher intensity for at least 15 minutes numerous times a week??? Sometin to do with the left ventricle or something.

What's the consensus with SLDL ROM; once you go past 45-50 degrees does the glute/ham emphasis all but diminish and move to lower back? Do people think it's safer to use higher weight and keep the ROM to 45-50 deg?

Has anyone tried this style of training?
it is essentially wrapping the end of a limb (example biceps- wrapped at insertion near shoulder) with a pressure of 6-7/10 then pumping a lighter weight.
the wrap allows blood into the muscle, but does not allow it to return.
results are extreme...
