    How do you breath during the dead lift? I exhale during the lift, using the start of the exhale as my que to lift. Gives me good power off the floor, but.. Nearly pass out at the top! Went proper dizzy today

    i remember getting told breathe when i lift, but can't remember when i was meant to breathe in and breathe out, or for that matter i wasn't told why breathing during lifting was important, can anyone explain when to breath andwhy ?

    just a question on breathing when doing an exercise, for example say a squat, your meant to breathe out going down and then breathe in when coming up is it ok to do it the other way; breathe in going down,then breathe out coming up does it make much of a difference ?
