Female training-PTC style

(big fkn giant, mad c)

lap band surgery is ridiculous, my missus was doing research on it for uni and people who go on it are retarded.

Quote. "its worked so well, all I can fit in now is a handful of fries and half a hamburger for lunch."

WHAT THE %^&*ing ****!?!?!?!? :(

Kyle, my one obese client, Jane, weighed 150kg.

Her twin sister is a dietician. And just as fat, as is her brother, who is also a client.

I'm a strength coach, my wife and son go okay when it comes to strength.

Can you see where I'm heading here.

A piece of paper mans f u c k all.

Dieticians are not needed.

Uncommon sense people are needed in situations like this.

Is it any wonder I have an instant dislike for someone who shows me qualifications, show me what you know and can do, not a piece of paper.

Apparently this new client has a fat twin sister as well, I know, eeiree. She sent her to Dr Labotomy.

He is not a regular GP. She told me he was a professor, an OBESITY EXPERT.

Does that simply means he turns overweight people into obese ones, and he's real good at it?

If this girl stays, I'll chart her progress for you guys. She told me she has failed on every single diet she has tried.

I explained I dont do diets, I encourage lifestyle changes.

She said she is bringing her 17yo brother on Wednesday, he too is very fat, apparently.

People without pieces of paper say they are meaningless, experience matters.

People with pieces of paper say they are very important, experience is useless.

Which one's right? You know my view, both are wrong. As you say here -

That's why I say I'm confident you'll give better diet advice than this drongo.

I wish her all the best in her efforts, and that she gets the results she hopes for!

Failing on a "diet" is very very common. Wrong approach. Like you say, needs to be a lifestyle thing. Hard to do, lose old habits and make new ones.

A whole 15kg overweight? Excellent, just the right amount to give him some extra energy to build muscle, eh? :)

WOW, I can't wait to meet this girl, and watch her progress. You didn't let me do squats with the bar for months (and it was empty) and this girl was doing 40kg x 10... thats crazy, she must have the weight lifting gift.

Plenty of people do extremely well without a strength coack kindred.

Get the right mindset, train hard and smart, eat well.

You can always come to a comp.

I have interstate clients come in all the time, one guy from SA has booked his next session in July 2010 lol, how keen is he, it will be his 3rd visit to just lift, not compete.

Annie, this girl is a natural

A couple of PB's so far this week

Brittany benched 52.5kg

Emma benched 45kg

Nikki benched 35kg

Annie and Bec snatched 35kg

Elissa snatched 32.5kg

All 3 of the girls were able to snatch more weight but with press out, which is not allowed. It was their first attempt. Ater each snatch, they had to perform an overhead squat since the bar was already overhead.

Dimi is the girl that Dr Labotomy wanted to do lap band surgery on.

She went to my website and read my newsletters and decided to listen to me instead.

She came back for her second session last night, and deadlifted 110kg and did box squats with 50kg x 5.

She's back again tonight.

Annie and Elissa practiced their form on the C&J and snatch.

They both managed a 55kg C&J and snatched 37.5kg, no pressout, legal lifts.

Looks like I'll be having an OL comp shortly

Brittany smashed the PTC ladies gym record with 140kg tonight.

Emma managed to add 30kg to her 90kg for a 120kg deadlift.

I now have 6 girls deadlifting 120kg plus.

Brittany - 140kg
Bec - 137.5kg
Amanda - 136kg
Annie - 130kg
Nina 127.5kg
Emma - 120kg

Brittany also benched 50kg x 4, so her 52.5kg PB will be broken on Wednesday. Brittany and Emma are only 19 and 21 I think, we got there deadlifts on video.

Some guy was bragging to a client that he deadlifts 115kg, he is a crossfit f u c k w i t.

My client told him that where he trains theres a handful of girls who pull more.

I'm not sure he believed him.

My statement doesnt imply that all crossfit lifters are f u c k w i t s, not meaning to offend

Amazing, just amazing. She looks like a normal fit woman not a female bodybuilder with man like muscles. I'm at 120kg now. The effort to lift the bar is huge for me. These women are truely very strong indeed.

None taken :p

I think at the more commericialised crossfit places these people thrive but at the one I go to as its more a backyard close knit group of lifters/trainers theres much less ego.

L J, we train effectively for a better quality of life at PTC. If anyone has aspirations to be a bodybuilder, I'll instruct them how to eat for it.

The training is the same regardless.

A 140kg deadlift is heavy irregardless of gender and bodyweight. These girls are far exceeding what they and most others thought was possible by, as you described, normal healthy girls.

My bitches are strong lol

I'll see if I can get the videos of Britt and Emma up on Youtube today, I'll post a link if I do.

Both girls jerk the bar off the floor, even though they have been told to squeeze it up.

Proves you cant stick brains in a statue, but you sure can make them strong.
