What weight do you count?

I was just wondering.

Say I load two 15kg plates onto a bar and the bar weighs 20kg. Do you say I lifted 30kg or is it the plates plus the bar making it 45kg?

None of your answers are correct !!!
You would be lifting 50kg.

Lol @ 45....

I always include the bar as well as the weights. It's the correct thing to do if your using a unit of weight as your measurement (i.e Lbs, kg etc).
 
Count the bar.

End of story.

We don't want to see this turn into a massive thread like the other "counting the bar" thread!
