I smashed a PB today

Just use the cage (or power rack), Josh. I always mess about with the safety racks, so if I can't get out of the hole on the squat, or crap out on the press, it won't drop on me. You can drag a bench in there and do it.
 
That is a good idea Kyle.

I usually just grab someone from the gym to give me a hand if I need. Not to do everything for me, just to be there for piece of mind. I find I am much stronger when I know someone is there "just in case" I always push harder then.
