Ive been doing a lot of burpees lately so thought I would give it another crack. Did it in 6:41! pretty effing happy with that. Took me about 15 mins to recover. Chest was F*&Ked after it.

it is better than nothing, but i could think of safer and effective ways to condition the same muscles that burpees do.

these mutli-joint movements are a skill in their own right.
 
I don't mind burpees every so often.
Usually 5 rounds of 10 with 30-60 secs rest is sufficient.
