OK, I like a lot of early 80's movies and to be honest I prefer 80's music too. Its an age thing, get over it...
If I had to go modern:
Reservoir Dogs
Train Spotting
Pulp Fiction
Apocalypse Now - OK 1979
Full Metal Jacket - OK 80's
Aliens - OK 80's, I give up...
There's been virtually nothing any good in the last decade. TLOR is about it, but I was a huge fan of that series way before the movies came out and I still like the original cartoon flick too...
