Just refering to point number 18 about the milk, it says milk is slow digesting and anti-catabolic so would drinking milk prior to bed be a good idea to prevent the body from going into a catabolic state during th 8 or so hours of sleep?

A trio of supplements taken after training can squelch its devilish rise. Try 1000 mgs of vitamin C, 400 ius of vitamin E and 800 mgs of the quasi fat called phosphatidylserine.
Shrek, as you said, phosphatidylserine is difficult to come by in Aust.
Just wondering, would taking the vitamin C and vitamin E alone after training still help to lower the cortisol? Or is the phosphatidylserine the main ingredient here?

    Thanks

Sure would be. If you could get whey caseine, a super thick type of protein shake, that'd be better...since it takes...what feels like forever for the body to process it. But yeah...somethin' like full cream milk'd be great My fav tho is a protein shake with a generous serving of peanut butter

Phoshatidylserine would be a good edition but if it is difficult to come by the other 2 should suffice.

Do some google searches you may find it combined with other vitamins / minerals.

TD, as PB said milk is great before bed (or anytime). Steak and milk before bed packs on the beef.
