Here are some Do's and don't's.. you can lose weight without having to use strange pills, risking your health and starving yourself. Dont be tempted by those tv ads or gimmiks. Exercise is the ONLY natural way to lose weight. Read the do's n donts below and start right ....Follow these strictly for 10 days and see the power of exercise yourself.

DO's

1. Get enough motivation. It could be anything....like buying a stunning undersized dress (best one), a model's pic stuck on your wall, or a reminder of an upcoming celebration..... Getting motivation frm outside is not a good idea. I mean, even if you have someone trying to push you to exercise everyday, it doesnt work for long...MOTIVATION MUST COME FROM WITHIN YOU.

2
. Begin with walking for atleast 30mins a day and slowly increase speed, time and distance. When you are getting too bored, take a different road for a change. This is the best way to begin. Pushing your self too hard in the begining will only lead to an injury and subsequent demotivation.

3. Enjoy your exercise. Or even better : exercise, doing what you enjoy. Dance, walk, skipping, jumping, play a sport or a combination of all these.....anything that gets your heartbeat up and makes you sweat, yet leaves you pleasantly satisfied and happy at the end of it

4. DRINK WATER. as much as you can.....Minimum 1.5 litres. Add lime or flavor to enjoy it.

5. Eat well. EAT RIGHT. and count calories. Starving will push your body into survival mode and it will refuse to lose weight. (it happened to me! )

6. Consult a doctor and know the reason for your weight gain or obesity. It could be a thyroid problem or a chronic allergic state (I have this! ) or something else fuelling weight gain.(For some it could just be over eating and no exercise). Proper medication WILL help you get maximum out of your exercise routine but will NOT help you lose weight without exercise.

7. Weigh yourself regularly (but NOT too often) and keep a track of your progress. Tickers are the best! I suggest weighing once in 10 days. Most ppl weigh once a week. Its acceptable.

DONT'S

1. Dont starve. This is a mistake most beginners do. Eat right, eat lots of veggies and fruits. Also, dont stop yourself from eatin that tempting chocolate cake. But, dont overdo it...have it once in a while after you have something healthy. Eg: Have 1 bowl of veggies or fruits and 1 tall glass of juice before biting into that cake...it;ll make you eat less of it....You should slowly cut down high calorie food. You'll do it yourself once you start counting calories and exercising right.

2. Dont overdo exercise. If you plan to workout for an hour everyday, do it for 30 mins on day1 and slowly build it to 60 mins in 10-15days time. DONT start running on day1. Your weight will show as injuries or knee pains. If you want to become a runner, start the "couch to 5k" program [Running- Couch to 5k ]ONLY after you lose enough weight to run without straining your knees too much. Talk to a doctor to know how much weight is okay to start running.

3. Dont lose motivation. MOTIVATION IS THE HEART OF YOUR WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM. Its okay if you dont feel like excersing one day. Take it easy and relax. But make sure it rings "low motivation" alarm in your mind. Spend the exercise time reading success stories or doing anything that motivates you. Make sure you are all charged up for the next day!

4. DONT expect miracles in one day. Expect them after 10 days
