What is the proper way to warm up before a workout and then cool down after a workout?

warming up just a light intensity workout , before moving onto your normal weight , don't need to stack the bar up

cooling down
-5 to 10 minutes jogging/walking - decrease body temperature and remove waste products from the working muscles
-5 to 10 minutes stretching
