Fitness Bands

I recently purchased a set of Fitness Bands and have been using them at work on my lunch hour.
At present of workout consists of 45mins of weight training four days a week and 5 days of cardio for 40 minutes .

My goal is to lose weight and to tone up. I was considering replacing two of my weight training days with 45 minutes of fitness band training. Will I get the same results?

If the bands are providing a significant amount of resistance they can be effective. Just don't dump the weights all together, it's good to mix it up and the techniques used for both apparatuses are different, giving the body more of a challenge. And when it comes to strength weights can't be beat!
