Post your shake Recipes

Between the milk, eggs and cottage cheese there should be around 50gms or more of protein, why the scoop of whey?

I add a vanilla bulker to my shakes for flavour, carbs and protein are just a bonus.
That would be one THICK shake with 3 cups of oats and 250g of cottage cheese

They whey bumps it up to around 85-90g of protein and adds a nice vanilla flavour.

And yes eaglebay it is quite thick.

My breakfast shake;

350ml full cream milk (might change to low/no fat)
1 scoop ON gold standard double rich choc WPI
1/3 cup oats

Blueberry high fibre shake

If you're running short on time or just want a healthy and nutritious shake then this recipe will suit you well (protein, fibre, calcium, omega-3 fats, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants).
Blend the following:

1 cup fat-free vanilla yoghurt

1 cup unsweetened frozen blueberries

1 serving nonfat dry milk powder

1/2 cup 100% orange juice

1 small handful walnuts

Add water to taste
Totals: 563 calories, 75 gram carbohydrate, 20 gram protein, 22 gram fat

Source: Christopher R. Mohr, PhD, RD; LL Cool J's Platinum Workout.

Note: Blueberries have the highest level of fibre, gram for gram, of any food.

200 ml water
1/2 cup oats
10 grasm goji berries
1/2 cup unprocessed bran
sprinkle of psyllium husk powder
1 scoop of choc WPI

Currently sipping my favourite shake now:

300 mL skim milk
half a cup of frozen blueberries
2 teaspoons of honey
two bananas
scoop of whey
5 g creatine
(sardines are optional hulk)
I found a blender!!! a decent one too, the unit doubles as a juicer!
