    Question Old Guy Strength Training

Iím a 71 year old male who still works out to maintain strength. My questions are ĎHow many squat reps and sets and at what % of body weight are appropriate for someone my ageí and ĎAt what squat weight (%BW) should I start using a beltí. Answers from someone of similar age welcome but all replies appreciated.

I couldn’t tell you age specific, but I’d go as heavy as I safely could to squeeze out 5 to 10 reps for 4 sets.
Sorry I’m outside the age group, so a generic answer.
