That's why ethanol is far better. 1% of the emissions of petrol. Petrol engines already run on it, you just need a different fuel pump and fuel lines. Cars are also faster on ethanol and most racing cars are already running on it. It's far, far cheaper and completely renewable.

I've driven electric cars a few times, the Tesla is freaking awesome but that's like owning a Lexus or Maserati. For regular plebs, the Nissan Leaf fucking sucks balls. And it's $50,000. That's 40 years of operation before you break even on petrol savings

Isnt the consumption rate of of ethanol much higher to get the same HP?
 
If Labor ran on ending mass immigration and had more sensible climate policies centred around nuclear energy and ethanol based fuels they'd win by a landslide

I feel like the Libs would be more likely to introduce a Nuclear platform than Labor
