Does alcohol impact on strength increases?

My beer fridge is located right next to my training equipment. Im now keeping hydrated with beer during a workout... is this a nono?

Strength training is turning me into an alcoholic. Lol.

The countries with the highest amount of alcoholism are also the countries that have the highest number of medals in the Olympics in throwing, weightlifting, wrestling, judo etc
There is a reason why Bangladesh has zero strength sports medals where the Eastern Bloc, Iran, USA etc dominate

I’ve nothing against beer aside from the fact that it tastes like shit and it has alcohol in it.

Alcohol increases estrogen and prolactin in men which in turn decreases testosterone. In woman alcohol does the opposite, it increases testosterone.

A raise in estrogen would be good for strength gains, though having a drop of testosterone at the same time isn't good.

All in all, alcohol is a cheap dirty drug and there are better choices you could make.

Please let me know where alcohol is cheap, I have all but stopped drinking as the prices are out of control, I just can't justify the crazy high prices for a a case of beer or even a single can of bourbon.

I more so meant its cheap as in its a crap and shit drug too choose and if you really wanted you could pick better drugs that are healthier on the body.

Speaking of prices i do also think booze is cheap, you can get pissed off a few bucks if you really want to. Just get yourself a cask of shit dirty stinking cheap wine and that'll get you smashed.

If you can't afford a case of beer then you have serious financial problems and i feel sorry for you.

Bodybuilders would often swig a bottle of wine prior to a comp.
