opposite for me, cities all of my life, and now country.
I moved back to wollongong 2.5 years ago. Not one single regret. Get to stare at the escarpment with a 180 degree view that cant be built out.

Compared to staring at a central courtyard.

Have to drive to work now though. Haha.

how far u have to drive?
 
1 hr tops usually on the way up. 71km.
55 minutes on way back down.

how much is your petrol bill each week?ur driving a decent distance,i was doing similar in nz but thru a rugged hill road for a part of the journey.Was costing me 30 bucks a day
 
Not crazy high.
Just over 700km.
Honda Civic gets around 630 per tank...41L
