Who here has it?

I have it in one ear and it caused by the fuck up in the chain of muscles from the massiter to the trap more than likely from an unrack or OH injury that never got treated.

Chiro for me after spending 100's on specialists to eliminate hearing and jaw issues. Took a $10 asian scalp massage to hit the spot before I realised it had SFA to do with ears.

Pretty sure Grunta coulda hit your spot for less than $10 ;)

OK, time for me to go :)

Both
I might enquire about your issue.

i had put it down to too much load music
SCM muscles, traps, scalenes and all the mastoid process muscles including temporalis. Apparently its common in lifters.

If you have a single sound that never changes frequency but just gets louder/quieter it pretty much will be hearing issues, brain compensating for lost frequency.

If it doesn't bother you just leave it alone!

I've had it all my life in both ears
I thought the constant ringing was normal until the doc told me otherwise.

Not sure if i have it but my left ear has been blocked for around 2 weeks now. I get a hissing type of noise all the time. Has happened before and doc said it is a build up of bacteria or something from being sick which originally started in my throat and and nose then moved to the sinuses. He said nothing to worry about.

And Kaz no, I’m not hearing things yet. Still to young for it, think it’s something the elders get?
Have probably seen things that weren’t t there, but if you saw the state of me after a 4 day straight bender you wouldn’t have been surprised.

Very mild case in my left ear due to continuous inner ear infections from scuba diving, and now a lump of wax that I need to flush out (sorry for the yucky description). But I've had it much worse so I kinda ignore it. Just a mild hissing.

This is my noise, hissing and a slight ring.

every man of woman sometimes has it. That is why you should find another solution.
You should take a look at https://www.revampsalonspa.com/blog.html/ which is is structurally similar to gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) – an inhibitory neurotransmitter. It may be used to manage neuropathic pain, postherpetic neuralgia, and fibromyalgia among other conditions.
