Death is awful for the people seeing someone die.

Heard this before, including on here that Drs already do it by upping the Morphine dose, so all we are doing is bringing it into the open.

Quite right.

this is pretty close to home at the minute, my mind is in two places with our Mum, difficult.

In theory this is correct, but they put it differently.

Morphine us upped to keep the patient pain free, eventually the dose becomes on overdose, so you can either have the patient in pain or keep upping the dose till finally it will OD the patient.
