    Superior for myself, not really talking about anyone else.
    Everyone will find they get better activation and/or results from some movements rather than others, you just have to find what works for you

    I actually get a good pump/workout in chest from bench press alone.

    my mate, who did 180kg clean many moons ago, has very little chest development.
    I can't wait for Kevin Aitken to join World Powerlifting.

    What about different Bodily structures giving different results. Some kunce more suited to Benching?

    At the end of the day you need to produce a template that works (strengthens) the complete shoulder girdle, a strength imbalance leads to greater risk of injury, so you've got mix it up, and not over weeks or months but over years.

    The barbell bench press is a great exercise, it is just a coincidence that it's also a regulatory lift in powerlifting
