    Default Tumeric and curcumin

Yet another "superfood" and miracle supplement that isn't.

"...there's no evidence it has any specific therapeutic benefits, despite thousands of research papers and more than 120 clinical trials..."

Supps companies love shit like this, then quietly back away when it's shown to be bogus. Like DIM that "naturally increases testosterone", only it doesn't. In fact, it reduces testosterone. Those pesky lab rats foiled us again.

Bottom line: Just eat real food, train hard and get your sleep/rest in each day. You don't need supps.

No. DIM or diindolylmethane. It was a "thing" a few years back. Another one of those supps that arrived with a huge marketing push but died in the arse cos it didn't work.

I use Tumeric but not for any health reasons. It makes my eggs taste better without salting them. Not that I'm against salt at all, but in winter I need less of it so I just use Tumeric instead.

I still remember Glutamine, everyone was taking it. A competitive bodybuilder at work used to rave about it, she swore it helped her maintain the musclemass. Then it turns out in the end it's all absorbed and used by the intestines.

As for testosterone boosters - even if they do increase testosterone, there is no point to that since it doesn't make a difference according to our friend Layne Norton: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxwXIgnmAOI
I reckon getting to bed on time and sleeping 8 hours will boost things way more than any pill anyway.

While we are putting shit on supps that don't work, does anyone remember hmb? Anticatabolic my arse.

I thought it had disappeared until some young dude in a supp shop listed it as part of some product he was trying to sell me a few months ago.

Yep, getting rest and proper sleep helps boost testosterone naturally.

They need to do a study on people's heads that buy something because it's a "superfood"

There was a comparison on some fad superfood fruit from some remote jungle a few years back. Cost something like 50 bucks a kg and supposedly cured everything, massive amounts of antioxidants and vitamins etc. They compared it with an apple and on all measures, antioxidants, vitamins etc it was basically no higher or better than a standard apple.
