Never believed compression did much to enhance performance. They were good for when it's cold at footy training and to stop chafing early in pre season after to you have packed on the kgs.

Probably the same as Knee sleeves.. I don't know how much warmer they keep the joint deep inside or just placebo. But I still wear them can lift a little more weight feels more stable for some reason.
 
I've used that ROC tape now and again for my knee, I just don't know whether it was just time and exercise that fixed the problem.
