Pittwater Rd stabbing: Three wounded in Brookvale gym stabbing
A KNIFEMAN is at large after stabbing three men inside a gym on Sydney’s northern beaches last night.
Witnesses said the “agitated and aggressive” man entered the gym on Pittwater Rd, Brookvale about 8pm and approached four men and a trainer.
He punched one of the group before allegedly pulling a knife and stabbing three of the men. The trainer escaped injury during the terrifying attack
The man then ran outside the gym and got into what police say is a stolen car and drove away.
He remains on the run.
All three wounded men — aged 26, 29 and 31 — were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, with one taken straight in for surgery. All three are now stable.
Police remain at the scene of the stabbing.
Detectives say the offender is believed to be still armed and possibly in the stolen car. Members of the public are urged to not approach him.
Anyone with further information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
