If you were to look very carefully at the images as they are presented, you may find something very different within the front deltoid muscle. There is an unnaturally elongated tie in between that muscle and its extreme insertion point/tie in with the pectoralis major. The other bit I see in the 2016 photo that is not visible in the 2015 is the appearance of an added bulge to the front deltoid muscle.

Reminds me a bit of what appeared to be a last minute attempt for some added arm size increase that we all saw done by Jay Cutler in his last Olympia.

So has Phil resorted to some synthol enhanced front deltoid muscles? I'll leave that to the observer to discern.
